That's right folks...about one week ago, I finished Project 10 Pan. I can't believe I finally did it, but it's true. With the end of a Victoria's Secret lipstick in Xhibitionist (a fave that they no longer carry), and my very last brow pencil from old school Hard Candy (honestly, if there was ever anything this soft these days...), it's all over.
Meaning, I had to celebrate. So on over to Guerlain I went, with the hopes of loving the entire Terracotta Summer collection. It was all very nice, however, this project has given me a bit of a change of perspective when it comes to purchasing beauty products. If I don't work hard at using up the things I do have, they will ultimately go rancid before they will ever be used. No, this isn't rocket science..but when your hobby takes over more than what your vanity will allow, you need to draw a line. So of course, I picked up a bronzer (apparently this is where my reasonable thinking ended...but, I limited it to this). My apologies, but I can't resist a pretty bronzer. If that means that I'll have an eternal glow far into my 90's, so be it.
Look at the casing on this pretty little clam. It's half the fun! The shade that drew me, was the Brunette shade, but the artist kindly explained to me that I would be looking all kinds of oompa loompa if I were to attempt it. Although..now that I think of it, it wouldn't be bad after/during a vacation.
So anyhow, I got the Blonde shade. Never have I considered myself a blonde (although some of you may have), but this works fantastically on my skin. The slightest bit of pink blends naturally into medium skin, providing a healthy glow--not a burnt out mess. Yes, it does contain shimmer (due to the compacted mother of pearl), and also a faint floral scent. Either are overpowering, which is why it has been used daily for the past week.
Are those of you who participated in PxP still chugging along? Or did you finish before me (this wouldn't be a shock)? What's your favorite bronzer this Spring?
