As you well know, if there's a means of using coconut oil, I will find it. The latest is Korres' Monoi Oil Bronzing Powder in the shade Sunglow Warm. It's luscious. It's decadent. It's everything you'd want in a bronzer. I bought it of course because it said Monoi was a primary ingredient...and then of course because it was bronzer. But now I love it due to both reasons. It has the slightest amount of shimmer in it--so little that it's difficult to detect on the skin. The nicest thing however, is the hydration that the monoi oil provides--nothing heavy or dewy, but yet far from drying. For brown skin ladies, I recommend grabbing the darker of the two shades, as the lighter one just about disappears on my skin tone. You know, just going along with my mantra..."one can never have enough bronzer." Repeat 10 times over.
Have you tried this? What are your thoughts?
P.S. Did you know that many mainstream lines are now incorporating monoi into their ingredient lists? A quick search will reveal the wide variety of products!
P.S.S. Tomorrow I plan on picking up the wedding essentials for my clutch. I'll keep you all updated with the must-haves for touch ups on the go!
