This is just a housekeeping note, but I've recently been making a concerted effort to consolidate all of my individual eyeshadows (from various brands), into sleek palettes. I've been searching desperately for a Stila palette that will accommodate the six new shadows (actually twelve shades, if you count the fact that they are duos) that I got for a great deal at Costco. It's an unbelievable deal, given that one pan will typically run you about $20. Instead, the whole set of six was $17! They're still in stock at most locations, so run, don't walk.
Anyhow, since they come naked (or without a case), I began looking for a Stila-sized palette to stash them in. That's when I came across this resource of de-potting and panning. If you've ever wondered what will or won't fit in say, a MAC 15-pan magnetic palette, and just weren't sure, you will have all of your questions answered. Additionally, the author gives tips on how to bake and pry your shadows out of their original settings, for extra ease. For anyone that travels, assists others with their makeup needs, or shares a bathroom with someone who doesn't understand the importance of your goods, I recommend doing this to lower the breakability factor of your precious cargo.
