I have this problem where I am constantly thinking throughout the day--oh, I'm sooo blogging that. Then I get to my computer, jump on the site, and forget completely what it's all about. Anyone else out there like that? Anyway, side note.
I have however, come across a most wonderful thing. While in the search for a new compact (not really for the makeup or anything, more so for the mirror), I came across Armani's Designer Modelling Compact Foundation. I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired about looking sick and...well, tired. Here's the madness behind the beauty: here in this windy chapped-up weather, I can't help but get a little red around the nose and chin. When dusted with a regular loose powder, I looked so orange-y. You know, the type of orange that makes you look like you just emerged from a cheap tanning bed. One of the types that don't protect your face. So anyways, just as I was about to walk away, I stumbled on this little gem--of course because it had the word modelling above it. Well, of course I was intrigued. The artist (who claimed he was wearing it himself that day), convinced me that it wouldn't be too heavy, and would leave me with a dewy finish. Perfect. I then let him apply. Whaddya know? He wasn't lying, and a few minutes later I left the counter with an even tempered face, a cute little bag of product, and not a hint of discoloration. These days I'm wearing it in shade 5.5, and with all of the SPF 22 that's included, I don't need to worry my pretty little face about this nasty weather aging it. Excellent.
