It's been a long while since I've seriously considered a skincare line. I've been so happy with my standby that I just haven't had a need for anything new. It's possible that this can be attributed to my slight issue with loyalty. I feel terrible at the mere idea of offending my "norm". Just last weekend, a friend had to convince me that I wasn't "cheating" on the Pope by watching the Dalai Lama, when I realized that he too was referred to as His Holiness. Anyways, I digress.
It's been some time that this product has been out and about, but I have yet to try it. I was reminded of it though, as I flipped through my Sephora catalog a couple of weekends ago. RX For Brown Skin is seemingly the perfect fit for women of color. So while I want to give it all a try, there's one catch: I need Dr. Susan Taylor to note on her website that this is made also for Pacific Islanders. Why is it that we can include Latino, Asian, African, Middle Eastern and Indian as brown skinners (although many can be even lighter than us!), and we get the shaft? Not okay.
